New Accessibility Feature in Teams.

A recent LinkedIn post by Randy Chapman alerted me to a new addition to Teams calling features.

As part of its drive to improve accessibility, Microsft has now intoduced Live Captioning for audio calls.

So how do you turn it on and what does it look like?

When receiving a call, head to the ellipses at the top right of the call window and you will see the new feature at the bottom of the list of options.

With this feature turned on, the live captions for both sides of the conversation will be seen at the bottom of the call window.

This is a great addition to the Teams already impressive feature set. Keep up to date with more upcoming features by checking out the Road Map Here.

Thanks for stopping by.
